I've created a few scrapbook layouts this week starring 2 of my fav gals, Kenzie, my niece, and Jennah, my step-daughter. It's easy to be creative when you have such sweet inspiration.
This layout was created for the Big Sister wk 2 competition at Colorful Creations. Those girls really know how to have fun. Stop by and check out the fabulous challenges going on. For this layout, I used beautiful patterned paper by Jenni Bowlin Studio and Creative Imaginations. The sweet diecuts are by Elle's Studio. I just love that pic!

I'm so happy to share these cards I have created for the hop! I used one of my favorite digi set, Sweet Butterfly, to create this card. I was so in love with this set that I wanted to used all 3 pieces on this card. I just love how the card inside complements the front.

Another sweet image from Tiffany Doodles is Candle Cake. Perfectly yummy! I paired this image with 3 fun diecuts from Elle's Studio.

Just 4...the bouncing baby boy...this adorable digi image, Carriage. I love the color combo of blue and brown. The title diecut is by Jillibean Soup and the large background diecut is by Teresa Collins. All images on today's cards were colored with Copic markers. Background embossing folders are by Sizzix.

I thought this collection would be perfect to showcase this family photo we took in October. I love all of the sweet diecuts. I used popdots to give them dimension.

A New Year...

Happy New Year! I had a wonderful night at home with the family, watching movies, eating lots of goodies, and of course, scrapbooking. I have been wanting to create with the "Family Fun" collection from Vintage Street Market. I knew it would be perfect to decorate a vintage cigar purse I purchased in Texas. I used a sweet b/w photo of my mom from the 1930's as the focal point.

I love combining the different textures of felt, paper, ribbon, and lace.

The clip art and diecuts in this collection are so fun. They were perfect for creating this masculine card.

This monogram tag was fun and easy to create. The sweet little girl diecut is just adorable. Baker's twine is one of my favorite decorating add-ons.

Happy New Year from Imaginisce

Is there anything more fun that wearing a party hat? Yes...creating them. I loved creating these sweet Happy New Year party hats with beautiful Imaginisce papers/diecuts/stickers and patterns from Snazzie Drawers.

For this hat, I used the Imaginisce Bon Voyage collection. The bold navy, burgundy, and cream stripes worked so well with the vintage pattern paper accents. The number stickers are American Crafts Thickers.

This little pink number, was created with the Imaginisce Hippity Hop collection. I accented with pink crate paper, a white paper doily, and gold glitter glue.

I even talked my step-daughter into modeling. These would be perfect for party hats or table decorations. They could be created for any occasion.

Holiday Traditions with Ruby Rock-It

Today, on the Ruby Rock-It blog, I've posted some pics of one of my favorite holiday traditions...collecting Santa's. I created this fun layout using some of my fav Ruby Rock-It products. Believe it or not...I used the Bella Wedding collection. The gold, cream, and tans were just perfect for the vintage feel I wanted.

Aren't the tan textured cardstock and journaling label fabulous! I also used chipboard alphas and stars from the Paper Boy collection.

Ruby Rock-It has cards and envelopes perfect for thank you's and notecards. I created this thank you card with one of my fav Santa photos, a Paper Boy card, and Bella Wedding paper.

Home for the Holidays with Ruby Rock-It

Today on the Ruby Rock-It blog, we are sharing our favorite holiday traditions. I just love the holidays! One of my favorite traditions is collecting Santa Claus figures. I just love his sweet little face and seeing him makes me feel like a little girl again. I have well over 50 Santa Claus figures.

This is one of my favorite Santa's that I purchased 10 years ago. He stands over 2ft tall and has advent pockets in his coat. My children are so excited to unpack him each year.

I love traditional Santa's, as well as modern one's with bright colors and glitter. This wooden Santa is so beautiful with his carved Winter scene.

Each December, my husband suprises me with a new Santa for my birthday. This is the Santa I received last week. I just love that Santa is carving a Santa figurine :)

This sweet collection was just perfect for this photo of my niece, Kenzie. I wanted to include as many wonderful, Spring patterns as I could in this layout. Cutting and arranging paper strips made this one quick and easy layout.

See...I told you this collection was cute! I love this little bunny diecut. I layered these sweet diecuts and added Imaginisce I-Rock gems and My Little Shoebox mini-alphas to create this card.

Christmas Inspiration with Imaginisce

Hello, friends! I hope you are having a wonderful December. The tree is trimmed, the gifts bought, and I'm spending lots of time in my studio creating holiday goodies. I'm so excited to share this Imaginisce Christmas mini-album I created.

Supplies include: Imaginisce patterned paper "Santa's Little Helper" and "Happy Harvest" collections, diecuts/stickers "Santa's Little Helper" collection. Album: Bo Bunny. Dies: Spellbinders Nestabilities. Ribbon: Offray. Copper Pen: Krylon. Twine: Doodlebug Designs. Cardstock: Bazzill. Mini-alpha stickers: My Little Shoebox. Adhesive: Glue Arts. Punches: Martha Stewart, Fiskars. Buttons, Machine Stitching.

I didn't want to completely cover the pages of this beautiful album, so I outlined each page with a Copper Krylon pen. It was the perfect touch.

My Spellbinders Nestabilities dies wonderfully framed my journaling circles and photo squares.

Glue Arts dimensional adhesive added that extra pop to my Imaginisce diecuts and stickers.

Twine and ribbon are wonderful for any project and just make me smile :)

I added lots of navy Bazzill cardstock accents to my mini. I think navy is the new black and works great with holiday projects.

To add detail to this page, I punched circles with my Fiskars punch and cut in half to create a cute border.

According to my kiddos, everything begins and ends with Santa. He was the perfect finishing touch to this album.

I'm so ready for Thanksgiving! I love getting together with family and eating lots of yummy food. I can't wait to gather together and catch up on the latest happenings. I always take my camera and take lots of photos.

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, I created this card showcasing the Imaginisce I-Top tool. In case you aren't familar with the I-Top, it is a wonderful handheld tool that allows you to create different sized brads with any paper, fabric, or material you choose. I used the XL brads to create the center for my flower. I also used Imaginisce "Happy Harvest" collection patterned paper, Cricut "A Child's Year" (turkey), Tim Holtz Alterabilities Dies (flowers), and rustic twine.

Happy Fall with Imaginisce

Hello, friends! I'm Keely Yowler. As November begins, I'm busy holiday shopping, choosing recipes for family gatherings, and of course, decorating my home. This is my favorite time of year. I love the changing colors of the leaves, the cool breeze, and bringing out my favorite sweaters. Today, I want to share with you one of my latest holiday decor pieces that you can create with a few simple items.

I wanted to create a fun decor piece for my kitchen table, but this would look great in any room. First, I started with one of my trifle bowls from the kitchen cabinet. You could use any glass bowl, vase, or jar. Next, I took my favorite Imaginisce paper collection, "Happy Harvest". I cut two 2 1/2" x 12" strips of patterned paper to go all the way around my bowl. I then cut four 2" x 12" strips of orange cardstock and used my border punch along one side of each strip. Using my glue gun, I adhered one punched border strip to the top and one to the bottom of both of my patterned paper strips. The next step is to adhere these 2 strips around your bowl. If you are using a large bowl that requires more that one strip, it may be hard to make the edges of your strips meet. Just do your best. We will be covering the seams soon :) I cut a strip of brown ribbon to go around the center of my strips and adhered.

I cut 2 different leaf patterns with my Cricut, but you can along freehand draw leaves, use stamped leaves, or a stencil. For the bowl, you will need 4 leaves of each pattern. I scattered extra leaves I cut around the base of the bowl. If you are using the bowl on a table where all of the sides will be seen, be sure to create interest all around your project. I grouped the leaves together, covered my seams on each side and added an extra group to the back. Adhere the leaves and diecuts. I wanted to give my leaves and diecuts dimension, so I adhered with dimensional foam. If you are worried about seeing the foam from a side angle, apply the foam to only the center of your diecut and curl it's edges inward slightly. Lastly, I tucked a few extra leaves into the bowl filled with artificial pumpkins, goards, acorns, and leaves that I purchased at the dollar store. Tie an orange ribbon around the base.

Tada! There you have it. A fun centerpiece that is easy to create and change for any holiday or occasion. Wouldn't this be great filled with brightly colored candies and decorated for a birthday? Or...filled with pinecones and decorated for Winter? Enjoy! I'd love to see what you create. And, now, a delicious Fall recipe.

Pumpkin-Chocolate Cheesecake Bars

Ingredients

1 1/4 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup butter, melted
2 8 ounce packages cream cheese, softened
1 3/4 cups sugar
3 eggs
1 cup canned pumpkin
1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon salt
6 ounces semisweet chocolate, cut up, or 1 cup semisweet chocolate pieces
2 tablespoons butter
1 1/4 cups sour cream
1/4 cup sugar
Grated fresh nutmeg
Milk chocolate or semisweet chocolate curls

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Lightly grease a 13x9x2-inch baking pan; set aside. In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and 1/4 cup sugar. Stir in the 1/3 cup melted butter. Press mixture evenly into bottom of the prepared baking pan; set aside.

2. In a large bowl, combine cream cheese and the 1-3/4 cups sugar. Beat with an electric mixer on medium speed until smooth. Add eggs, one at a time, beating on low speed after each addition just until combined. Beat in pumpkin, pumpkin pie spice, vanilla, and salt on low speed just until combined. Remove 1-1/4 cups of the mixture.

3. In a small heavy saucepan, combine the 6 ounces chocolate and the 2 tablespoons butter. Cook and stir over low heat until melted. Whisk chocolate mixture into the 1-1/4 cups pumpkin mixture. Pour over crust, spreading evenly. Bake for 15 minutes.

4. Carefully pour the remaining pumpkin mixture over baked chocolate layer, spreading evenly. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes more or until filling is puffed and center is set. Cool on a wire rack for 30 minutes.

5. In a small bowl, combine sour cream and 1/4 cup sugar. Gently spread over cookies. Cool completely. Cover and chill for at least 3 hours. Cut into bars.* Before serving, sprinkle with nutmeg and/or chocolate curls. Makes 24 to 36 bars.

Bwwwaaaaa! Happy Halloween! I'm happy to share some of my latest Halloween projects. I created this Halloween treats basket by painting an unfinished wooden basket from Michael's and creating several flags with My Little Shoebox "Trick or Treat" collection. I adhered a piece of clear plastic (from a scrapbook package) inside the basket to prevent the goodies from escaping, then filled with mini M&M's. So yummy!

OOOHH, AAHHH! I do love the Happy Harvest collection from Imaginisce. I created this layout about my boys love of pumpkin carving.

I created these 2 spooky cards with the My Little Shoebox "Trick or Treat" collection and Cottage Cutz diecuts. Popdots, doodle pens, and Stickles add a finishing touch.

I created this fun layout for this week's sketch challenge at Creative Scrappers (one of my fav sites for inspiration). This collection by Ruby Rock-It was just perfect for this layout about my fun loving step-daughter, Jennah.

I created the kooky owl with one of my fav Cricut cartridges, "Hoot 'N Holler". Isn't he the cutest?

The alpha letters are Jenni Bowlin (large) and Cosmo Cricket (small). I love the jeweled swirl is by Imaginisce.

Swim for Katie Blog Hop & Fundraiser

If you're not familiar with her, Katie’s cancer story started just before Christmas last year. This young, beautiful, healthy, vibrant mother of 3 with her infectious smile was suddenly diagnosed with an inoperable cancer, virtually overnight. A few tummy aches and then stage 4 gastric cancer. Her first post about it is here. The idea of “Swimming for Katie” came from her recent post here.

This exclusive stamp used in my sample, designed by Becky Oehlers, is available as a clear stamp, as well as a digis or a digi and SVG cut file. 100% of the profits go to Katie's fund to help her and her young family. Her husband Kevin and her three young children need our help and support. My Little Shoebox and Punky Sprouts Mini Album

What a wonderful pairing...My Little Shoebox and Punky Sprouts! The MLS design team had the pleasure of designing with Punky Spouts chipboard albums. This fun and funky album was perfect for our family trip to the Kentucky State Fair.

I decorated my album with the MLS "Playtime" collection--a wonderfully youthful Summer collection.

This album was so much fun to decorate. It has chipboard, acyrlic, and canvas pages. I used distress ink on the canvas to give it an outdoor, "day at the fair" look.

I punched holes down the side of the pages and braided ribbon through for a fun, colorful accent.

It was great to include so many pics of a fun, family day at the fair. We saw so many animals, crafts, and blue ribbon winners. The kids had a blast on the midway rides.

This colorful collection of patterned paper, diecuts and stickers made it so easy to create an album my family can enjoy.

Having a Cardtastic day...

Hi, friends! I want to share two cards I created yesterday. The above card was created for the Outlines Rubber Stamp Co. Monday challenge--Picture This. The challenge was to incorporate a picture into the design of your project. I couldn't resist creating a card with this pic of my sweet neice, Kenzie. I absolutely love these stamps from Outlines. You can mix and match these stackable flowers for the most gorgeous accents to any card. I used: D-1040 Round Posy Sm., E-1039 Round Posy Med., and E-1046 Posy Leaf 2. I colored the images with Copic markers. The patterned paper is by My Little Shoebox.

My second card was created with a beautiful digi stamp by Tiffany Doodles. I used the Strawberry Hearts Digital Stamp. I didn't do much to this card other than layer with cardstock, machine stitch around the outer edge, and add a sentiment. I colored the image with Copic Markers. The image is so pretty, it doesn't need a lot of other accents. Hop over to Tiffany Doodles this weekend. They are having a 3-day blog hop with lots of goodies to giveaway.

Best Creation Two is Better Than One

I'll admit it. I have a 2-page layout phobia. I can never seem to get both pages to flow into one layout. My latest DT assignment with Best Creation was to create a 2-page layout. EEK! But...I am SO happy with my finished project. I used the uber-fun collection, "Let's Party". Bright patterned glitter paper and coordinating stickers really made this layout come together.

The great chipboard letters/numbers and mini letter stickers are just perfect. I love painting the BC chipboard to match my latest layout.

I hope you are having a wonderful weekend. The weather is so beautiful here. We spent the day at a local festival. Lots of great crafty inspiration. I spent last night in my craft studio designing a few cards for this week's Moxie Fab World challenges. I do LOVE a Moxie Fab challenge. The first card is for the Fabulous Felt Challenge. Don't you just love the texture felt adds to a project? For the card above, I created this kooky felt owl with a template from my Cricut. I used the Cricut cartridge, "Hoot and Holler" (my new fave :) I machine stitched the card, but carefully hand stitched the owl. I have a new love for anything teal. My second card, "Love You", was designed for this week's Tuesday Trigger at Moxie Fab World. I used 2 of my fav stamps: the wooden background stamp by Hero Arts and butterfly stamp by Stampin Up. I love how you can see the woodgrain through the butterfly wings. It almost looks like the butterfly has been carved into a tree trunk. Check out this inspiration pic...

The love banner, wood texture, and the great earthy colors inspired me to create this birthday card for my MIL. Hop on over and join in on the challenge.

Hurray for Best Creation!

We've got spirit. Yes, we do. We've got spirit. How about you? Today's projects at Best Creation are all about team spirit. I loved creating with the Team Spirit collection. SO full of glitter, pom-poms, and fun! In this layout, I used my fingertip knife to cut out the letters in Victory. I backed them with a complementary paper for emphasis. Don't you just love that decorative edge paper?

Best Creation collections are perfect for boys, too. I love how all of this blue in the collection worked great with my 2 sons baseball pics.

Who says cheerleaders are just for cheer squads? This card would be great for getting a good grade at school, passing your drivers test, or just being a great kid.

Stampendous Fran*tage Friday at Paper Craft Planet

Welcome to Stampendous Fran*tage Friday! Today, I had the pleasure of desiging with Stampendous Cling Rubber and Clear Stamps. I want to share with you the steps I used to create this masking technique card.

First, I choose what stamps I will be using for my card and the card design. I lay the stamps out and decide what stamp(s) will be in the foreground. You will be stamping your images from the foreground to the background. For this card, the flowers and sentiment will be in the foreground with the music sheet in the background.

Next, stamp the flowers and sentiment as you want them to appear on the card.

Stamp these images again (to be used as the mask) and cut out with a craft knife.

Lay the masked images over the images on the card and stamp with music sheet stamp.

Tada! Adhere your stamped image to your card and you're finished. You can layer a few images, like I have done, or make your designs much more elaborate. Planning out your card first is the key. You will need to make masks for all of your stamped images except the background, which will be stamped last. Have fun! I'd love to see your masked cards. Geek is Chic

Welcome to the reveal for the new Imaginisce collection, "Geek is Chic". I just love the rich, bold colors of this new school collection. It's perfect for all of your school photos from pre-school through college.

Wouldn't this cute treat bag be perfect to hold a gift for your favorite student or teacher? Get out your border punches and start layering.

Creating a scalloped border is made easy by punching circles and cutting them in half. I also like using tags for hidden journaling. These stickers and diecuts are just wonderful to accent any layout.

I had such a wonderful time creating this spooky haunted house with the My Little Shoebox "Trick or Treat" collection. I purchased the paper mache house from Hobby Lobby over a year ago and have been "saving" it for the right project. Doesn't it make a fabulous spooky house?

The colorful papers in this collection are purple, green , orange, and black. So fun and playful for Halloween! The diecuts are just perfect for layouts, cards, and spooky projects.

I hand cut the windows and fence from black cardstock. I love how the purple patterned paper looks like curtains in the windows. I added vintage dictionary pages to accent the collection. I used one of my fav Martha Stewart border punches to create the roof.

I've had a great weekend creating with stamps from 2 amazing companies, Kenny K and Outlines. I created these 2 cards with sassy digi stamps by Kenny K. This week's blog challenge was to create pocket cards. I used 2 of my fav stamps to create a "Super Mom" card with a gift card pocket and a "Hey Girlfriend" card with a bigger pocket for movie tickets.
I colored these cuties with Copic Markers. The cards were created with Bazzill cardstock, patterned papers by American Crafts and Teresa Collins, and my fav, mini alpha stickers, by My Little Shoebox.

This week's challenge at Outlines Rubber Stamps was to create a Christmas inspired card. I love this COOL owl stamp. So fun and funky.

This sweet little snowman looks ready for Winter, all dressed up in blue. I colored these stamps with Copic markers. The patterned papers are by Echo Park.

Christmas in July at Citrus Tree Studio

I had a wonderful weekend playing along with the Christmas in July Crop at Citrus Tree Studio. I created these glass Christmas ornament accented with cute holiday stamps by Inkadinkado.

This holiday card was created with a wonderful ice skate die from the Cricut Winter Woodland cartridge. I added mica flakes for texture.

I created this cute snowman treat container with fun patterned papers/sticker by Echo Park.

This gift tag was created with Echo Park paper/stickers. I stamped the music note paper with a wonderful background stamp by Stampendous. Of course, I added I-Rock crystals by Imaginisce to the tree.

Hello! I’m so happy to be hosting this week’s 3D Challenge #123–Angel’s Landing Purse Box and Card. I found the template for this wonderful box at Mel Stampz. Not only is the 3D Purse Box gorgeous, but the template and instructions are so easy to follow.

I decorated my box and card with patterned papers and stickers by the Echo Park “Be Mine” collection. I thought the papers were so elegant. The flower stamp is by Outlines Rubber Stamps. They make the cutest stamps.

My challenge for you is to create one of these purse boxes (and coordinating card, if you choose). The template and instructions are found HERE. Next, post your photo in the PCP gallery with the tag 3D123. Then, attach your photo with the Mr Linky at the PCP blog.

Lucky in Love

We had a wonderful weekend. We celebrated my hubby, Kevin's bday on Saturday by going out to dinner and a movie. We saw Harry Potter. It was so good. Yes...we are big Harry Potter fans.

I created this layout using a few pics we took while being silly. I just love how it turned out. I used Sketch 164 from Creative Scrappers for inspiration. I've had these gorgeous patterned papers from Best Creations for a few months. I just love these St Patty's Day papers and I've been saving them for just the right project. I paired them with some stickers and patterned paper pieces from Echo Park.

Summer Days

I hope you are enjoying your Summer and taking lots of photos to scrapbook. I love catching the kids being silly or taking photos of my doggies running through the yard.

This week, I searched through my stacks of patterned paper and pulled out these great papers by American Crafts and Echo Park. I had such a great time creating with these rich Summer colors.

I used lots of little pics from our Summer vacation in North Carolina for this layout. I used a wonderful PageMaps sketch for inspiration.

Happy Harvest Release Day at Imaginisce

I'm so excited to share the new Fall collection from Imaginisce, "Happy Harvest". You will love the beautiful collection of patterned papers, stickers, diecuts, and stamps.

I love the great diecut titles and characters. Isn't that fox just too cute!

I created this Thankful plaque by altering a wooden plaque with distress ink, covering with patterned paper, and accenting with stamped apples. I colored the apples with Copic markers. I love all of the apples in this collection.

This collection is so perfect for these pics of my family at the apple orchard.

I'm such a fan of anything "owl". These cute owl stamps are just so fun.

Riddersholm Designs at Paper Craft Planet

This week, I've had the pleasure of designing with beautiful patterned papers, diecuts, ribbons, and charms from Riddersholm Designs, a papercraft company in Denmark.

I created this altered cigar box. It reminds me of being a little girl and playing with my mother's jewelry. I would try on her rings, clipped earrings, and necklaces and pretend I was going to a party.

The photo in the center is a copy of one of my favorite vintage postcards that I collect. Did you notice the lovely cameo charm? This is from Riddersholm Designs.

I created this sweet gift bag and matching card. I drew stitches around the edges for a finishing touch.

Don't you just love when you have a photo that touches your heart? This pic brings back all of the wonderful memories of Houston's birthday celebration and what a fun, sweet young man he has become. I wanted to create a colorful, fun layout to highlight that day.

I'm totally in love with the new "Sew Cute" collection from My Little Shoebox! From the diecut paper to the cardstock stickers...I love it all.

I couldn't resist pairing this measuring tape twill with this collection. It fit perfectly.

The "Sew Cute" collection isn't just for girls. I loved creating layouts about my sweet boys with the "Sew Cute" collection.

These cards were so fun to create. Using my favorite Glue Arts foam adhesives made the diecuts really stand out.

This month at My Little Shoebox, we are teaming up with Glue Arts products. I created this card with the "Sew Cute" collection by MLS. I love using Glue Arts Raise-N's to add dimension to my cards and layouts. I used them to "pop" my pin cushion off this card.

This is a pic of the new Badge/Pin Combo. It is perfect for pinning and sticking your flowers to just about anything.

I just loved this hat when I bought it, but it needed some pizazz. I added the polka dot ribbon and Imaginisce Roly Rosies and Roly Posies. It was perfect to wear on a beautiful, sunny Mother's Day.

Here is a close-up of the flowers. Aren't they just beautiful? I love the fabulous texture and contrasting patterns of the denim, print, and swirl flowers. I created the leaves by cutting circles of green felt and gluing one end closed.

Happy Mother's Day! I couldn't wait to share these 2 Mother's Day cards I created with the My Little Shoebox "Sew Cute" collection. I just love the dress forms! I added a wee bit of lace on the large dress forms.

I created these cards for my mom, Wendy, and MIL, Gloria. I hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day. My husband and boys surprised me with a Barnes & Noble Nook. I'm so excited to download my first book and start reading. I'm thinking..."Water for Elephants". Read any good books lately?

Paper Craft Planet 3d Challenge

I'd love for you to join us at Paper Craft Planet for this week's 3D Challenge. I'm hosting this week's paper flower tutorial. I love all of the beautiful paper flowers on the market, but they can be so expensive. Creating your own flowers are quick, easy, and wonderful to personalize for any project.

For these flowers, I used a diecut from the Cricut cartridge, "Forever Young". I find that a flower with 8 petals works best, but you can also adapt the design to work with other flower diecuts. No diecuts? Try drawing your own 8 petal flower. Art isn't meant to be perfect :)

1. Cut 5 diecut flowers. I cut these 2 1/2" each. Just remember, the bigger the diecuts, the bigger your final flowers. My diecuts have the center cut out, but you can use solid flowers.

2. Cut one petal from the first flower, two petals from the second flower, three petals from the third flower, four flowers from the fourth flower, and five petals from the fifth flower.

3. Use a quick drying glue (I like Zip Dry) or a hot glue gun to glue each flower into a ring. If your flowers are solid, they will form a cone. Snip off the the tip of the cones, so your flowers will lie flat.

4. Adhere the layers to form your flower. I like to ink around each layer for shading. These are also beautiful lightly painted with glue and sprinkled with glitter. Just perfect for your Spring or Mother's Day projects.

We are so happy to reveal the new I-rocks from Imaginisce. I used the Boarder and Bracket stencil with the Glitter Hotrocks to add a touch of fun to my card created from the Little Cutie collection.

I love the new Metallic Pearl Hotrocks. They were perfect choice to make the most of the new Large Flourish stencil. This layout was also created using the Little Cutie collection. The cute diecuts (title, flowers, and model) were created using the Cricut cartridge "Forever Young".

Welcome to Part 2 of the Imaginisce "Little Cutie" release! Today, we are revealing sweet boy projects. I love creating little boy gifts and cards and the "Little Cutie" collection is just perfect. Those patterned papers, diecuts, stickers, and stamps are just irresistable. I created this wall hanging by decorating and arranging tags. So simple, but makes a great gift. I created this layout with an assortment of patterned papers, diecuts, and stickers from the "Little Cutie" collection. I added stitching around the paper edges for a soft, quilted look.

I want to share a step fold card tutorial using the "Little Cutie" boy collection. 1. Cut a piece of cardstock that measures 6" x 12". This will give you a finished card that measures 6" square.

2. Use a pencil and a ruler to measure 2" from the left side of the card. Mark lightly with pencil. This line will be the left edge of the score lines that you will make in the following steps. This line will also be the guide used to make the cut shown in Step 5.

3. Using a scoring tool, score a line that is 6" down the 12" length of the card base. This is the only score line that will go completely from one side of the card to the other.

4. Score at 3", 8", 10", and 11". Only score to the line made in Step 2. These score lines do not extend to the left edge of the card.

5. Use a straight edge and a craft knife to cut along the line made in Step 2. Begin the cut at the 3" score line and continue to the 11" score line.

6. Fold a "mountain fold" along the 11" score line. Fold a "valley fold" along the 10" score line.

7. Fold a "mountain fold" at the 8" score line. The 6" score line will be a "mountain fold" on the left side of the card and a "valley fold" on the step side of the card. The last fold id a "mountain fold" along the 3" score line.

8. Decorate with patterned paper, stickers, diecuts, and stamps as desired. Enjoy!

Imaginisce "Little Cutie" Release Day!

Hello, friends! It's finally here...the release day for our fabulous, new collection, "Little Cutie". This collection is full of adorable patterned papers, diecuts, stickers, and stamps for baby boy and girl projects. Today, we'll be sharing sweet projects for baby girl. I created this BABY hanging wall sign with diecuts (sign, teddy bear, letters) from the Cricut cartridge, "A Child's Year".

I loved creating this sweet side step baby girl card. The instructions with photos are below.

1. Cut a piece of cardstock that measures 5 1/4" x 10 1/2". This will give you a finished card that measures 5 1/4 inches square.

2. Use a pencil and ruler to measure 3/4" from the left side of the card and the right side of the card. Mark lightly so that you erase the guide lines easily. These lines will be the cut lines as well as the edge of the score lines that you will make in the following steps.

3. Using a scoring tool, score at 2 5/8", 5 1/4", 7", 8 5/8", and 9 1/2". The score line that you make at the 5 1/4" measurement will be the only score line that goes all the way from the left side of the card to the right side of the card. This is the middle fold of the card. All of the other score lines should stay between the guide marks that you drew in Step 2.

4. Use a straight edge and a craft knife to cut along the lines made in Step 2. Begin the cut at the 2 5/8" score line and continue it to the 9 1/2" score line.

5. Fold a "mountain fold" along the 2 5/8" line. Fold a "valley fold" along the inner portion of the 5 1/4" line. The two outer edges of the 5 1/4" line will be "mountain folds".

6. Fold a "mountain fold" along the 7" score line. Fold a "valley fold" along the 8 5/8" score line. Fold a "mountain fold" at the 9 1/2" score line. 7. Decorate with patterned papers, diecuts, stickers, and stamps.

Imaginisce April Challenge

Welcome to the Imaginisce April paper piecing challenge. There are a ton of different ways to interpret this challenge. Use your Cricut in layers, create a character with punches, use your computer to print and hand cut, or use a stamp and layer.

The prize...An I-top package valued at $75 or a range of popular collections to the same value. Participants must use at least 75% Imaginisce. The prize for leaving a comment on the Imaginisce blog is the i-rock and accesories.

Paper Craft Planet 3d Challenge

I’m so excited to be hosting this week’s Paper Craft Planet 3d Challenge. I want to share with you one of my favorite 3d projects. This cute, little 3d project is so much more than a gift card holder. It can hold flower seeds, lunch box notes, money from the tooth fairy, movie/concert tickets, mini cards, and of course, gift cards.

For my sample, I created the base with pink cardstock and stamped the front with a background music note stamp. I then added a patterned paper cutout with pop dots. Tada! How great it that? You could also resize the pattern, if you like.

Snail Mail

I love texting, emailing, and Facebook, but there is nothing better than receiving snail mail. I had a wonderful weekend creating lots of cards. Some are simple cards with diecuts. Others are more complex with sewing, stamping, and colored with Copics. No matter how long they took to create, I love them all. They are very special to me and are created to brighten someone's day.

"Make a Wish" was created with the adorable stamp, "Dottie", from Bugaboo Stamps. I love every stamp they have in the store. Pop over and check them out HERE. The card was created with beautiful patterned paper by Cosmo Cricket, ribbon, lace, and a sentiment stamp by Basic Grey.

I also created this "Thank you" teacher card. The thank you stamp is by Studio Calico. Also included is patterned paper by Sassafras Lass, Scalloped circle diecut by Spellbinders, rub-on stitches by DCWV, and Thickers by American Crafts.

I loved creating this card for the challenge with these adorable bunnies from Jellypark. I thought it would be a perfect card for my baby niece, Kimberlyn. I colored the bunnies with my Copic markers. I think everything looks better with a bow :)

Welcome to the first ever "I Love Lucy Blog Hop" If you came from Gaby's blog, then you are heading on the right direction, but if you just happen to pop in here then make sure you start with Abby .

Abby over at Scrapbookaholic By Abby is hosting this hop because she is a big fan of "I Love Lucy". She loves this show so much that she gathered a group of ladies that also have a little bit of an addiction to this wonderful red-hair lady! We were each given a different episode from the "I Love Lucy" series as an inspiration for our projects.

I had so much fun creating this "I Love Lucy" project. I used a photo from my episode, "The Freezer", to create a mini layout to hang in my studio. I used great patterned papers/diecuts by My Little Shoebox and lots of wonderful embellishments sent to me from one of my lovely, crafty friends, Pearl Lui, from Singapore.

PREMISE: Lucy goofs again! Just when she thought she'd done something right for a change -- acquiring an old freezer from Ethel's butcher-uncle -- she mistakenly places an order for two sides of beef (approximately 700 pounds of meat!) -- and now has to figure out what to do with it before Ricky finds out...

The girls visit a local butcher shop, and attempt to sell their beef to the shop's customers. (Classic line: "I have sirloin, tenderloin, T-bone, rump; pot roast, chuck roast, ox tail, stump..."). The shopkeeper soon catches on, however, and chases the girls out.

With Ricky due home any minute, Lucy decides to hide the beef -- but in the process manages to lock herself into the freezer. One quick-frozen redhead, comin' up!
